Hard to tell with everyone standing in front of the boxes, but it was a pretty
good haul for our first year. We had about 3200 lbs of food donations for the “
Christmas Food Hamper “ program in Fort Nelson.
We also had a $500.00 donation at the end of the night from Bruce with Secure
Energy.The folks at the Hamper were very excited to see us pull in at 9:30
Saturday morning with the food. Big thanks to Rob and his staff at Overwaitea
Foods and Ken and the crew at 102.3 The Bear for advertising us all night from
various locations in town during Moonlight Madness in Fort Nelson. As I said it
was our first year and I believe we will just gain steam year after year. Big
thanks to everyone who supported it and can’t wait to do it again next year
